Welcome to Your First Day!
We’re excited to have you join the team at Yaumay.
On your first day, you’ll be working alongside one of our experienced staff members who will guide you through your tasks and responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to learn how we operate and to ask any questions you might have.
Your mentor will walk you through everything, from customer service and order management to our daily cleaning routines and kitchen flow. Please feel free to observe, ask for clarification, and practice the tasks as you go. We want to make sure you’re comfortable with our processes and expectations.

Each customer is served a table charge condiment set. This includes chili oil, chili sauce, and salmon soy sauce mixed with sesame oil. We serve one set of these 3 sauces per customer.
おしぼり towels are a symbol of hospitality and are deeply ingrained in Japanese culture as a way to offer comfort and care to guests.
An おしぼりis a moist hand towel given to customers in Japan and other places in East Asia. It’s usually offered at restaurants before or after a meal so guests can clean their hands. The towel is served warm It’s a simple way to show hospitality and make guests feel welcome.
